Sir

As a member of the Banchory Community Council it has been brought to my notice that the buses serving the Deeside Route are not really practical for the members of the public.

It is wonderful that we have a 20 minute service through Banchory but the coaches used are not user friendly.

We very rarely see "low rider " buses on this peripheral route and because of this some members of the public are prohibited from travelling whenever they want.

Deeside has many elderly residents and young parents with pushchairs who would use the bus if it were more practical to access.

The Deeside route is the only peripheral route that does not have frequent friendly user buses. It would be interesting to see the views of other members of the public on this issue.

Yours etc
