Thanks to Banchory Horticultural Society, Deesiders and Donsiders can take a sneak peek at private gardens this weekend.
Saturday and Sunday, August 2 - 3, will see Banchory Horticultural Society’s Open Gardens event take place from 2 to 5pm each day.
The properties open on both days are as follows: 20 Burnett Road, Stone House, Rosehill Crescent and Woodend Allotments.
On Saturday, visitors can explore the garden of the Nook, Watson Street, and on Sunday Hazeldene on Viewmount Road will be open for viewing.
Entry is £1 per person per visit, and each garden will display balloons at the entrance for ease of identification.
All profits made over the weekend will be donated to local good causes.
A spokesperson for Banchory Horticultural Society said: “We are very grateful to the gardeners for taking part.
‘‘ It is always fascinating to see how varied the local gardens are and how much effort is put in to looking after them.
“Although we are called a horticultural society, we are not terribly cultural and certainly not haughty. We always welcome new members!”
