The MacRobert Hall, Tarland, was the venue for the annual Cromar and District Horticultural & Industrial Society’s Open Show on August 9.
This year saw an amazing number of exhibits in flower, fruit, vegetable and industrial classes. The children’s classes were also well supported.
The show was opened by the Society’s president,The Honourable Philip Astor, and the trophies, including the prestigious RHS Banksian Medal, which is awarded to the most successful exhibitor in the horticultural classes, were presented by Ian Scott of Aboyne.
Jennifer Hay presented gifts to Mr Astor and Mr Scott as a token of their appreciation.
