25 years of service from Jenny at Hawkhill House

A long-serving member of staff at Aberdeen’s only independently owned private nursing home (on Deeside has celebrated a quarter of a century of service.

Staff nurse Jenny Taylor from Newtonhill has worked at Hawkhill House Nursing Home at Milltimber for the past 25 years and combines her night shifts with working on behalf of the Aberdeen-based charity Somebody Cares and, formerly, with Macmillan Cancer Support.

Her long service at Hawkhill House was recently marked with the presentation of commemorative gifts by facility owner and managing director, Rona Tayler.

Mrs Tayler said: “Jenny is popular with colleagues and residents alike and we are delighted that she has been an important part of the team at Hawkhill for such a long time.”

Hawkhilll House Residential Nursing Home, located on the North Deeside Road, is registered with the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care for nursing Elderly and Terminally ill Residents & Day Care Residents.

Staff provide Nursing and Care for long term Residents as well as for convalescence, holiday stay and terminal nursing on a twenty-four hour basis, with Doctors on call.

Should a Resident fall ill, they provide all nursing required unless the doctor recommends that more intensive hospital treatment is needed.
