ABOYNE Academy pupil Finn Henderson-Palmer has become an overnight sensation after starring in the school's talent show.

A video of the first year pupil dancing to Jamiroquai's Canned Heat in the style of cult film character Napoleon Dynamite has already received hundreds of hits on internet video sharing site Youtube.

The school raised more than £1,200 for Children in Need by holding the talent shows last week.

The eventual winners were Ukelear Warfare – a group of ukulele players, other musicians and two vocalists.

However it appears to be young Finn Henderson-Palmer who could become Deeside's next star.
