All guns blazing at Strathdon shoot

SOME 72 guns took part in the Upper Donside Gamekeeper Gun Club's 25th anniversary charity clay pigeon shoot in Bellabeg Park, Strathdon.
Results were as follows: 50DTL 1st prize £100, R Greenlaw, Strathdon; 2nd prize £50, D Taylor, Tomintoul;3rd prize £25, G Stuart, Ballater.

R. Hepburn Cup, winner G. McDougall, Beauly; Ladies Prize, B. Marshall, Aberdeen; Sporting re-entry, C. Will, New Deer; Overall high gun, C. Will - New Deer.

The event, which was sponsored by Mr & Mrs Marsh of Bellabeg House, Grampian Grains, Glenfiddich and Glengarioch, raised £750.

Club secretary, James Stuart thanked the previous sponsors Mr & Mrs T Hanna, formerly of Kildrummy Castle Hotel who sponsored the event for the past 25 years, and wished them well in their retirement.
