A group of local women - the 'Lumphanan Lovelies' - have raised £2660 for breast cancer causes in Scotland.
The ten women, Evelyn Anderson, Denise Angus, Christine Clarke, Veena Fernandez, Moira MacIver, Diane MacWilliam, Linda Morrison, Lynne Morrison, Ingela Scott and Jane Wills took part in the Edinburgh Moonwalk earlier this month along with 12000 other walkers, most of whom wore decorated bras.

The Lumphanan women said the weather was especially kind - it wasn't raining - and a stunning sunrise ensured spirits were kept high at 3.15am!

They thanked everyone who sponsored the Lovelies on their quest to walk the 26.2 miles through the capital's streets and gave special thanks to those who donated money at the Lumphanan Gala on June 14.
