The Grampian Transport Museum’s summer events programme is well underway but there are still plenty activities to enjoy throughout the summer, from fast car rides to the annual arena concert.
Fast car rides are available from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Thursday, August 9, giving people of all ages the chance to ride on board some of the most famous and fastest cars ever produced. The event is free of extra charge to museum visitors.
On Wednesday, August 15, a family fun day will take place at the museum, which will include vehicle rides and much more. This event will run from 12.30pm to 4.30pm and is included in the entry fee to the Alford-based museum.
Rounding off the summer holiday events programme is a ‘Cars and Guitars’ concert from 3pm to 8pm on Saturday, August 18. Featuring an exciting mix of classic ‘70s and ‘80s cars and music, the event will be held inside the arena circuit. Tickets will be on sale soon from the website and must be bought in advance.
The museum is open daily from 10am to 5pm throughout the summer. Featuring a range of dramatic displays and working exhibits, the museum offers something for everyone. This summer, two U16s are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult, with any additional children costing £3. Adult entry is £9, with concession entry £7.
