Pupils at Aboyne Primary School have voted to support the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) as their school charity this year.
The Pupil Council visited the SSPCA Centre at Drumoak recently to find out how the charity spends some of its donations, looking after the animals they recue.
They shared this information with the school and organised a “dress as an animal” day which raised over £170.
This money will help the Drumoak Centre to carry on their valuable work, rescuing and re-homing animals.
