Deeside Activity Park has had a very busy month so far, from winning an award for excellence to hosting a vintage car rally.
The Activity Park announced last week that it had been awarded a prestigious TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award.
The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.
Cilla Wood, sales & marketing manager for the park, said: “Winning the Certificate of Excellence is a true source of pride for the entire team at Deeside Activity Park and we’d like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor,”
June also saw the 57th Annual Run and Rally at Deeside roll into the Park.
The Kildrummy Veteran and Vintage Vehicles Club ran the event on Sunday, June 8, which saw over 80 cars and motorcycles drive up to the park’s front lawn by 11am.
The event was first held at Deeside Activity Park back in 2009 and has gone from strength to strength in popularity. The rally was held in the grounds of Kildrummy Castle for a number of years before that.
Owner of Deeside Activity Park, Ken Howie, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming the members of the Kildrummy Veteran and Vintage Vehicles Club back to Deeside Activity Park. Last year’s event was a huge success and it was wonderful to see these beautiful vehicles displayed on the lawn.”
