A mainstay of Banchory High Street is celebrating thirty years in business.

Furniture shop Taylors marked the occasion with a birthday cake for the staff and a glass of champagne or two.

Owner Dick Taylor and manager Keith Gilbert have seen many changes since the store’s opening in 1982.

Dick said: “There’s certainly been a few changes in thirty years! What people want to buy has obviously changed, the styles we sold in 1982 wouldn’t sell now. Banchory has changed in that time too. I’d like to thank our many loyal customers for the last thirty years.”

Keith added: “We’ve always put service and quality first with the shop and we’ve seen generations of families come and go.”
