At its recent open day, a prize draw for three nights’ accommodation at Crathie Opportunity Holidays was won by Michael Talbot, of Braemar.
He generously donated his prize and it was awarded to Grampian Opportunities.
Bill Davidson, Allan Spence and Jean-Marie had attended the open day and were very impressed with the facilities and services offered.
As they are in the process of researching short-break accommodation for disabled people, Mr Talbot’s generosity came at just the right time.
Grampian Opportunities intend to use the accommodation in October when some members will get together to have a working break and will continue their research into accessible accommodation.
Maggie MacAlpine, manager of Crathie Opportunity Holidays, said: “I am delighted that we will be welcoming Grampian Opportunities to the Manse Courtyard and look forward to them having a productive, yet relaxing stay in our newly-refurbished cottages which have been especially designed and equipped to allow disabled people to have a holiday in lovely four-star accommodation.”
