Bancon Developments have said farewell to land director, Bob Beattie, after 15 years’ service with the company.

Bob’s colleagues and clients celebrated in style at a cocktail party, not only to mark his retirement but also a milestone birthday.

Bill Beattie, CEO of the Bancon Group, said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Bob for his outstanding contributions over the last 15 years. One of the Group’s key strengths is its landholdings, both current and strategic and throughout his tenure Bob worked tirelessly on behalf of the Group and its shareholders, building a portfolio of land to meet the needs of the Group business going forward.”

Bob’s successor is chartered surveyor Graham Reid, who took up the role earlier this year and is responsible for the identification, appraisal and delivery of strategic land acquisitions across North East Scotland for the Bancon Group.

Prior to joining Bancon Developments in 2012, Graham was regional property specialist with Clydesdale Bank PLC. Graham held the title land manager at Bancon while Bob came to the end of his long stint as land director of the Banchory-based group this year.
