Moving day: first tenant welcomed to BBC2

Local business magnate, Alexander Burnett , welcomed the first tenant to Banchory Business Centre 2 (BBC2) at an event last week.

Home improvement contractors R Davidson has recently relocated to the new renewable premises with a view to expanding the company.

Local councillors, politicians and business owners joined employees and contractors to celebrate the move at a launch party last Friday, February 27.

Mr Burnett thanked Trevor Mutch and the Davidsons for being the first tenant in the centre at Hill of Banchory.

Bancon will be the next local firm to take up offices at BBC2.

Speaking about the BBC2 development, Mr Burnett said: “The original Banchory Business Centre was full and we wanted to allow businesses the opportunity to expand.

“BBC2 is a modern design and we wanted it to be an environmentally friendly as possible. It’s all heated by 
our biomass plant.’’
