The Kincardine O’Neil Village Hall committee is hoping to welcome a good turnout for its AGM on Wednesday, April 11.
This will be the first AGM for several years after a period when it proved difficult to form a committee and get people to help with the running of the hall. A new committee was formed after many comments were submitted at the recent Community Action Event stressing the importance of having the village hall facility.
This year is set to be a busy year for the village with celebrations for the Jubilee, the Olympic torch coming through the village, a summer gala, a flower festival and a visit from the twinned village of Thun St Martin.
The hall will be at the centre of many of these events.
It is hoped that people will attend the meeting and express their hopes and thoughts on the hall and the events that should be put on in the future.
Some may wish to volunteer and become involved in something everybody thinks is of great important to the village.
The AGM is to be held in the Kincardine O’Neil Village Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 11.
