Banchory air cadets have been reflecting on a busy summer of competition in the area.

2367 Squadron took part in the annual Wing Field Day at Aberdeen’s Gordon Barracks and won the wing drill and banner drill competitions.

The squadron was also presented with the Leiper Trophy for the unit with the greatest success with cadets completing the Duke of Edinburgh award at bronze, silver or gold level.

The cadets also retained the Wing Swimming Trophy at the North East Scotland Wing contest at Westhill. Several cadets have been selected to represent North East Scotland at the regional competition.

They also made a number of public appearances over the summer, including the steam vintage car rally at Milton of Crathes and Aboyne Games.

The squadron held an open evening on Monday for potential new recruits.
