Alford Rotary Club has distributed the £6000 raised from September’s KT Bike Run and Craft Fair

£2700 was donated to Maggies in Aberdeen. Paula Cormack, fundraising manager for Maggies, Aberdeen, accepted the cheque and gave a short talk about how the money would be used to help fund the essential role they play in supporting families and individuals who are directly affected by cancer.

Donside Defibrillator Group, who are co-rdinating the introduction and training for Public Access Defibrillators (PADs), received £1350. The same amount was given to Alford Curling Club and Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s own charity, received £600 to support the Eradication of Polio programme.
