Council employees across Aberdeenshire were given the opportunity to contribute to present giving appeals over the festive period in aid of Cornerstone and local community planning projects.

In Alford, Stonehaven, Turriff, Ellon, Huntly, Inverurie and at Woodhill House staff gave generously to the Giving Tree appeal which is led by Cornerstone to support adults and children with learning disabilities across Scotland.

In Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Banff a number of local businesses as well as council facilities ran a Gift Tree appeal in support of Here For You and Homestart.

Provost Jill Webster was proud to present gifts to Denise Chambers, Corporate Fundraiser at Cornerstone, ahead of Santa’s busy delivery schedule, in an event at the council’s Woodhill House in Aberdeen.
