Chair of Aberdeenshire Council’s Social Work and Housing Committee Cllr Anne Allan visited Crathie Opportunity Holidays to find out how it is used for short breaks.

Cllr Allan was joined by Adam Coldwells Chief Officer of Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership and various officers from Aberdeenshire Council after being invited to view the facilities by local Councillor Geva Blackett.

Crathie Opportunity Holidays cottages are accessible for people with disabilities and they provide specialist equipment which can help with caring, making it an ideal place for short breaks.

Amongs those visiting were representatives Short Breaks Bureau, a single point of contact supporting carers, and those needing care, to access personalised breaks.
