Crathes, Durris and Drumoak Community Council (CDDC) is holding a public meeting this Thursday (October 25) to discuss the proposed Stewart Milne development near Crathes.
The meeting is scheduled for 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
The Community Council says it wants to consult local residents on the proposals before passing on their views to the developers.
A Council spokesperson said: “The agenda for the evening is to re-familiarise the Crathes community with what was agreed over seven years of consultation, which led to the Crathes Development Brief for the proposed site. CDDCC will explain that we intend to see that the Development Brief acquires the appropriate level of authority with respect to the site. We will collate the communities’ views regarding this development to ensure that the planners, councillors and developers are aware of them.”
The meeting will be part of a deeper consultation process with residents.
The development will be made up of around 45 houses with affordable housing planned within it.
All interested local residents are urged to attend the meeting and make their views known.
