The Enchanted Castle will return to Crathes this winter to wow crowds with a brand new light and sound extravaganza.

The theme of this year’s event is Fantasia - a visionary celebration of sight and sound.

Sponsored by Petrofac, this year’s event promises to intrigue, mystify and entertain when it casts a spell over one of Aberdeen’s most popular visitor attractions.

For five nights only, Crathes Castle Garden & Estate will be brought to life and transformed into a wonderland for the senses with a spectacular cutting-edge light and sound show featuring stunning choreographed effects, moods and backdrops in a truly thrilling ambience.

Taking place from November 21 to 25, this year’s event will feature a new and exciting woodland garden trail, a mesmerising magic zone and an adults only evening on Wednesday, November 21.

In addition to this, fire and illumination entertainers will perform a show-stopping display when they juggle, breathe and dance with fire.

Eleanor Bentley, vice-president of finance at Petrofac Offshore Projects & Operations said: “Visitors and locals are in for a real treat this year when the Enchanted Castle returns to Crathes to provide the perfect outing for anyone who wants to see Aberdeenshire in a completely different light.”

Tickets go on sale this week and can be bought in advance only from Aberdeen Box Office, Union Street, Aberdeen, on (01224) 641122 or www.boxofficeaberdeen.com.
