Property damaged in Lumphanan housebreaking

Police Scotland is appealing for information following a break-in and theft from a residential property in the Lumphanan area of Deeside.

The incident is believed to have happened between 7:00am and 7:45pm on Tuesday 13 January and a low three figure sum of damage was caused to the property. Additionally, electrical goods and jewellery with an estimated value of a mid-four figure sum were also stolen.

Constable Robert Graham, who is investigating the crime, said: “The local community often plays a vital role in assisting Police enquiries and as such I’d ask that if anyone in the area saw anything suspicious contact us.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to remind local residents to ensure that their properties, access points to their land and their vehicles are secured at all times.”
