Daleks spotted at Alford’s Transport Museum!

Alford’s Grampian Transport Museum has unveiled details of its programme of activities for the October school holidays with a popular TV star set to make several appearances.

There will be lots of activities for children around the museum including quizzes, drawing competitions and pumpkin hunts as well as the fantastic museum collection.

The latest Doctor Who series may be over but a Dalek will be making various appearances in the museum and visitors can pose for photos with the Doctor’s arch-enemy. Details of the Dalek’s visits will be posted on the museum’s website: www.gtm.org.uk

Thursday, October 25 will see the Pre-Halloween activities afternoon take place from 12.30-3.30pm. Featuring a superb Punch and Judy show, face painting, a bouncy castle and much more. Aberdeen FC mascot Angus the Bull will also be in attendance.

The tea room and gift shop will be open throughout the holidays. Normal Museum admission applies to all holiday activities.
