Banchory Day Centre opened on May 28 1992 and was based for eight years in the East Church, where it met every Thursday, providing a social outlet for older members of the community.

In 2000, it moved into the new Dalvenie Gardens Resource Centre, where it has been ever since nad on Thursday, May 24, members celebrated the centre’s 20th anniversary with a cake and entertainment.

There is currently space for more members. Anyone who knows someone who could benefit from joining the group should contact them. They are always seeking more volunteers, so people are urged to get in touch if they can help.
