Deeside Activity Park has just hosted its last Steak Night, with over fifty people attending the final evening devoted to eating and appreciating quality, locally sourced produce.
Under the care of Ken and Margaret Howie these evenings have been unique to the North East of Scotland, with everything being prepared and cooked on the premises by Head Cook, Joyce and her first class team. The highlight of the evening was the Cairnton Aberdeen Angus Beef.
The prime beef from Ken Howie’s own accredited Carinton Aberdeen Angus Herd is bred and raised on the Cairnton Farm just a couple of miles up the road from Deeside Activity Park. Rump, fillet, ribeye and sirloin, all the beef is hung for 28 days, so that when cooked it is at its most tender and delicious.
