Donside shoot is a grand event!

The Upper Donside Gamekeeper Gun club held its annual open clay pigeon shoot at Bellabeg Park, Strathdon on Sunday.

The event was sponsored by Mr and Mrs R Marsh, Bellabeg House, Strathdon and 55 guns took park in extremely windy challenging conditions.

Results were: 50DTL 1st prize £100 P Turner, Lancashire, 2nd prize £50 M Turner, Lancashire, 3rd prize £30 M J Milne, Kemnay.

The Ronnie Hepburn Trophy - 1st M J Milne, Kemnay. 7 pin Re-entry 1st M kerr Torphins.

The event raised £1000 for organisations in the Donside area.

The club would also like to appeal to anyone who might know the whereabouts of the trophy for 1st prize in the 50DTL , it is a large wooden shield with the name Central Garage Trophy on the plaque in the centre it was last won in 2009 and has not been returned.
