The winners of the 2016 Banchory Academy S2 Enterprise Project were all treated to a luncheon at the town’s Tor-Na-Coille Hotel, where their winning starter - a chicken noodle broth - was served up on the menu to fellow pupils and judges on the panel.

The S2 year was divided up into four groups and had to design an afternoon tea advert, a carry out box and sticker for the Bay Fish & Chip shop, a front cover for a Banchory Academy Cook book (taking recipes from the S2 Enterprise Starter menu) and a starter dish, which could be served at the Tor-Na-Coille Hotel, which was the noodle broth.

The project is aimed at the S2 pupils working with local businesses, looking at the creative side of employment including cooking, graphic design and creative art.
