Banchory’s budding young chefs

The S2 Year at Banchory Academy were in the kitchen last week as part of their Enterprise Project in conjunction with the Tor-Na-Coille Hotel.

Head Chef at Tor-Na-Coille , Colin Lyall, oversaw two classes .

The youngsters created a starter dish that may be served in the hotel, if it’s chosen as the winner.

As well as their culinary creations, some of the S2 pupils have been working on designing an advert for the hotel and a new brochure design promoting the hotel’s new restaurant.

Deeside Photographics has also been involved.

The local photography business, owned by Logan Sangster, has been taking photographs of the dishes created for the project.
