The winning group of this year’s Banchory Academy S2 Enterprise Project enjoyed lunch at Tor-Na-Coille Hotel, where the team of pupil chefs prepared their winning dishes.

The starter was salmon pate with brown bread and chilli salsa in a jar. The food was well received by the judges and deputy rector Colin Nicol at the lunch.

The S2 classes were split into different groups with some pupils working on an advert, others on a brochure, one group producing a sticker and a box for The Bay Fish & Chip Shop in Stonehaven, and another group developing a starter course using local produce where possible.

Local businesses, Tor-Na- Coille Hotel, Deeside Photographics, Fraser Media and The Bay Fish & Chip shop, were also involved in the project.
