Emily sings for charity

Emily Anne Hughes, a trainee dental nurse in Banchory, has recorded an album to raise money for charity.

The 19-year-old hopes to raise as much money as possible for Alzheimer Scotland South Aberdeenshire Services by selling a collection of songs entitled ‘Caravan’ for £5.

“I recently recorded some songs at The Mill, Crathes, which I published online,” said Hughes, of Banchory.

“I loved every minute of the recording, despite it being challenging at times, and when it was suggested that I could sell some of the songs for charity I thought it was a great idea and I hope to do just that.”

The CD will be available to buy at the Fountain Dental Group, in Station Road, Banchory, and at Hughes MacDonald and Davidson Opticians on Banchory High Street.
