Past and present members of Durris Young Farmers met to celebrate the organisation’s 80th anniversary.

Around 180 guests attended a recent dinner and dance at the Hilton Treetops Hotel in Aberdeen

Guest speaker for the evening was local farmer and member Rodney Blackhall.

The cake was cut by the oldest member, Mrs Julia Melvin, a past secretary, and the youngest member, Beth Noble.

Durris Young Farmers have a thriving membership, and many of those who attended the celebratory event still live in Durris and the surrounding area.

The guests enjoyed a three-course dinner, a raffle, and dancing to the Graham Geddes Dance Band.
