In an increasingly busy world - with more than ever to do but less time in which to do it - do you ever really dedicate any time to yourself?

Indulging in a pamper session, or treating yourself to a little ‘me’ time is not simply a pleasant treat, but it can also boost your health an wellbeing.

I C Beauty, situated in the wooded surroundings of Brathens Business Park, near Banchory, offers a range of exclusive relaxing treatments, in a haven of serenity.

Previously based just off Banchory’s Bridge Street, the clinic has moved to its new, more relaxed and intimate location and owner Nikki Munro is now taking bookings for a host of bespoke treatments.

With the emphasis on renewing, refreshing and revitalising, her aim is to leave you feeling energised and replenished.

With over 20 years experience, she offers a variety of one-to-one beauty therapy treatments and also has visiting qualified technicians and doctors.

Gail Proudman is a semi-permanent make up and paramedic camouflage technician who travels around the UK working with cosmetic surgeons.

She has featured in Discovery Channel’s Home & Health programme.

She provides a semi-permanent make-up service on a regular basis at I C, with her next visit being Friday, April 29.

She works closely with clients to determine the depth and colour of the enhancement to eyes, brows and lips.

The procedure causes very little discomfort and can last up to five years.

With spring just around the corner, why not start the season off with fresh, youthful-looking skin? Microdermabrasion is the most advanced skin-resurfacing treatment currently available.

Leading plastic surgeons and dermatologists regard the microdermabrasion system as being more gentle and effective than other exfoliating systems.

The length and number of treatments will vary, depending on skin type and condition, but you can experience softer smoother skin immediately.

This treatment is so gentle, it can be used immediately prior to a major event.

On Friday, April 1, Dr Sandi Munro, of Aberdeen, will visit I C Beauty for a Botox and fillers clinic, so you can iron out those creases in time for Mother’s Day!

Anyone booking this treatment will undergo a consultation before any treatment goes ahead.

Nikki also offers Swedish massages, waxing and other beauty treatments, including Quantum Face - a non-surgical face-lift procedure, which is a preventative treatment as well as corrective, so is suitable for all ages 18+. Used by the famous, the benefit of this treatment is supported by well over 20 years of medical research.

For the ultimate pedicure, relax and indulge yourself in the clinic’s supersized leather armchair with your feet immersed in warm swirling waters as your senses are soothed by the gentle changing colours.

Your chair will then be reclined and as you enjoy the foot and leg massage, your back will have the benefit of a relaxing shiatsu massage - built into the chair.
