Banchory Heritage Society members will be welcoming a weel-kent face to this month’s meeting at’ an evening with...Tom Kirkpatrick’.

Tom Kirkpatrick came to Banchory in the 1950s and has worked in the community, having been a member of both Rotary and Probus but will be known mostly as owner of Kirkpatricks coaches.

There will be hundreds of ex-Banchory Academy pupils who went on school trips on a Kirkpatrick motor, especially those with memories of the school trips abroad.

All visitors are welcome to come along and spend the evening with Tom and members of the Society.

The meeting will be held at St Ternan’s Episcopal church Hall on Monday, November 26. Doors will open at 7.30pm and the meeting begins at 7.45pm.

Anyone interested in Banchory’s Heritage, whether born and brought up here or as someone who has come to live in this part of the Dee Valley, is welcome to join and play a part in maintaining and promoting the unique heritage and culture of the area.
