The adventures of Mowgli and friends are brought to life at Crathes Castle, garden and estate near Banchory on Friday July 10.

Chapterhouse Production Company are staging this family favourite in the grounds at the historic Aberdeenshire estate. They’ll be bringing the magic of the Indian jungle to life, creating an enchanting and fun-filled musical show for children of all ages.

Learning and events co-ordinator at Crathes Castle, Hazel Morrison said: “Watch our lawn at Crathes transform into the sultry jungle, and see big cats, bears and wolves play their part in Mowgli’s adventures. We’ll see some of the best-loved characters in literature come to life, and of course, there are some fantastic songs to sing along to.”

The Jungle Book takes place on Friday July 10, 6.30–9.30pm. Tickets cost £14 for adults, £10 for children and £42 for a family – book at http://www.nts.org.uk/Events/Ticket/Buy/4495/.
