Sir Robert praised the hardwork and growth the firm has seen because of it.
He added: “James Jones and Sons is an excellent example of a business which has grown in the North-east to become a significant employer with trade links across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.”

‘‘We discussed some very relevant forestry issues.
‘‘Particularly, we talked about the need for more planting and for planting targets to be met so that the industry can meet its full potential as it goes forward.”
