A Deeside Church of Scotland Minister has swapped her prayer book for running boots to raise funds for a North- east charity.
Minister of Skene Parish Church, Reverend Stella Campbell, was amongst the multitude of 700 runners at the recent Crathes half-marathon.
This was the Rev Stella’s first race of this distance and she took her time preparing for the 13 mile endurance challenge.
Stella had been in preparation for a while with her training regime beginning at the start of this year.
The big-hearted Clergywoman was running in support of a cause close to home- the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Therapeutic Roof Garden Project- and with the help of her many supporters throughout Deeside, she is hopeful that a sum of at least £3000 will be raised.
