Mobile storyteller

Aberdeenshire Council’s mobile library will welcome professional storyteller and writer Lilian Ross on board this Friday, March 23.

Children at Tarland Playgroup will join Lilian in the library on Friday morning for a storytelling session, then in the afternoon she will travel to Strathdon to meet up with local residents at Corgarff Hall.

All are welcome to join the library service on board for a cosy and entertaining afternoon of storytelling and song.

Aberdeenshire-born Lilian writes in Doric and English, creating poetry, short stories and song lyrics.

The event is partially funded by Creative Scotland’s Live Literature programme, which is managed by Scottish Book Trust and exists to bring Scottish fiction writers, playwrights, poets, storytellers and their work to local communities.
