Police officers have appealed for witnesses after a rural property was broken into and three motorcycles were stolen on Deeside.

The property in the Kincardine O’Neil area was targeted at around 3pm on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.

Two Husqvarna motorcycles were taken, one white in colour and one white and yellow. An orange KTM motorcycle was also taken.

The bikes are valued at over £10,000.

Sergeant Gordon Forsyth said: “It is believed that a blue Volvo S60 was used in the commission of this crime and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen it in the area to contact us. The same vehicle was later recovered in the Northfield area of Aberdeen. We also ask that anyone who saw anything unusual or suspicious get in touch. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.”
