Deeside Youth Musical Theatre will be holding auditions for new members early next month.

It follows the success of DYMT’s production of Joseph in March.

If you would like to join an exciting youth theatre group whose past productions include Hairspray, Fame, Grease and Joseph, now is the chance to come along and audition.

DYMT is a musical theatre group for young people aged between 10 and 17.

It aims to stage a production once a year, usually in March.

The group meets for rehearsals on Thursday evenings between 6.30 and 8pm.

From January onwards, additional rehearsals are scheduled on Sundays.

Auditions will be held on Thursday, June 2, from 6.30-8pm at the Deeside Community Centre in Aboyne.

Applicants must be aged between 10 and 17 and should come prepared to present both a song and a spoken piece.

Places for this year’s auditions are limited so hopefuls should come well prepared.

To book an audition slot and for further information call Graham Davidson, musical director, on 013398 85310.
