Conservation charity, the National Trust for Scotland, is holding its first Local Assembly in the north east.
The Assembly is being held at Haddo House near Ellon on Wednesday, September 12, one of a series of regular events being held around the country for Trust members and anyone with an interest in Scotland’s heritage, history and built and natural environments.
North-east based NTS Trustee Margaret Alexander said:“Given that the north east has the highest concentration of members and Trust properties, it is important that everyone here takes this opportunity to learn more about what the Trust is doing locally and nationally and have their say on their heritage. We have put together an eclectic programme which covers subjects as diverse as exciting archaeological discoveries we have made in the area, the vision for Mar Lodge Estate and local arts and culture.”
The Assembly is from 11.00 am and is free to attend, although there is an £8.00 charge for lunch. To book call 0844 493 2100 or e-mail email@example.com
