Girlguiding Scotland, Scotland’s largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women, has appointed a new Scottish Chief Commissioner, Sue Walker.
Sue will take over as the Chair of Girlguiding Scotland’s Executive Committee as well as being a figurehead for nearly 1100 girl and adult members across Girlguiding Kincardine & Deeside, which stretches from St Cyrus in the South to Portlethen in the north and Braemar in the west.
Sue Walker added; “I am delighted to be taking on new challenges as Girlguiding Scotland’s 17th Scottish Chief Commissioner. Guiding is a movement – it doesn’t stay static. And it’s great fun – for girls and Leaders alike. Girlguiding Kincardine & Deeside are delighted that Sue, or one of her team, will be joining them for their annual review of activities on Thursday ( October 11) in Torphins.
