A new president has taken the reigns of Banchory-Ternan Rotary Club following a hand over dinner earlier in the month.

A large number of members attended the Handover ceremony at last Wednesday’s meeting of the Rotary Club of Banchory-Ternan, when the new President was introduced.

Following a short business meeting President for the year past year, Alistair Thomson, thanked all Club members for their support and encouragement during his year in office.

He then handed over the Rotary chain of office to Reg Wilkins who will be President of the Club for year 2013-2014.

The new President said that he looked forward to serving in his new role and invited all members to help him in delivering a busy and productive year for the Club.

President Reg also paid tribute to Honorary Rotarian Forbes Grant who had introduced him to the Club 19 years ago and who attended the Handover meeting.
