Nursery children contract E. coli

Three children who attend a Deeside nursery are in hospital after an outbreak of E. coli.

NHS Grampian said two confirmed and four suspected cases of E. coli O157 infection in children who attend Rose Lodge Nursery School in Aboyne were being investigated.

About 40 children attend the nursery at any one time.

Rose Lodge Nursery said it remained open to unaffected families of children aged over two.
