A plant sale at Millbank Hall was held in aid of funds for Cluny Church.

When the doors opened at 10am on Saturday (May 26), a queue of green-fingered enthusiasts were waiting, eager to get through the doors and snap up some pretty perennials and blooming borders.

There were a large number of plants available to buyers, including a selection of tomato and strawberry plants.

Minister of Cluny Church, the Rev Euan Glen, said the event raised just over £1,100 for church funds.

“This was a £200 increase on last year’s takings, so we are very pleased,” he said.
