The communities on Royal Deeside turned out to remember the fallen on Sunday.
Hundreds of people in Banchory, Aboyne, Ballater and Braemar - as well as smaller village communities - paid tribute to those who had made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Wreaths were laid at war memorials and pipers played the last post on a cold but bright Autumn day.
Pictured here are a selection of photographs taken at ceremonies in Deeside.
Full report in this week’s Piper - out on Thursday.
