Sam and Sammy’s sky high sum

Sam Greig from, Greystone Farm, Cushnie and Sammy Fyfe from Inverurie raised £1200 for a children’s charity by doing a skydive.

The money will go to the Lennox Childrens Cancer Fund, set up in 1992 with the primary aim of supporting hospitals with children’s cancer wards by providing specialist equipment, refurbishments, toys and children’s parties.

The charity has grown to be able to offer more direct support to the families who are most in need. It now offers practical, emotional and financial support through two main projects; Care Grants and Respite Breaks.

Since 1998, the Lennox has been providing families with a week long break free of charge and often with additional spending money. This allows them to spend some quality time together being a ‘normal’ family and can make the world of difference to the child’s wellbeing.

Thanking everyone who sponsored them, Sam and Sammy said;” We’re sure all the money that you kindly sponsored us will be a great help to some of the families that have children with cancer.”
