The Lonach Hall, at Strathdon, is to host Fiona Knowles and MsFits back with their latest production of multi award-winning playwright Rona Munro’s Mad, Bad & Dangerous to Know.
The production tells the tale of May, who’s a bit mad, in a good way! Hitting 60 is not going to stop her having a good time.
Matti is bad, in a scary way! She may be only eight but one glower from her could curdle your rum punch! Mia, next door, looks glamorous, ageless and a little bit dangerous! In a good way? In a scary way? That’s what you’re about to find out!
Matti’s been dumped with her gran for three weeks. May’s doing her best but nobody’s happy! May likes salsa dancing, Matti likes zombie movies. They’re never going to get on – and Matti thinks May’s new best friend neighbour Mia, looks like a very dangerous person to know!
Could May and Matti have more in common than they realise? Could discovering Mia’s secret bring them together? Or will it all go horribly wrong?”
It’s a story of one woman growing old disgracefully, one woman not growing old at all and one very scary child.
Families, friendships and pure fantasy - it is the latest one-woman comedy drama from Rona Munro and MsFits, a partnership spanning over two decades and 18 one woman shows, including Sex & Chocolate, Stick Granny on the Roof Rack, Women on the Verge of a T Junction, Fur Coat & Magic Knickers and Women Behaving Madly.
The show is at 7.30pm on Friday, October 28, (doors open at 7pm). Tickets are £8 and £6 (concessions).
