Deeside charity Cromar Volunteer Patient Transport Group (CVPTG) is recruiting drivers, as well as people to fill two key committee positions.
The committee has remained relatively unchanged since the charity started up four years ago, but this year the the chairperson and driving force behind the organisation, Lesley Grieg, is standing down.
Additionally, treasurer, Anne Robson is standing down, therefore there will be two key positions to be filled at the AGM, which will be held tonight (Thursday) at 7.30pm in the MacRobert Hall, Tarland.
The two positions will need to be filled in order to ensure the continued success of the local charity.
CVPTG is co-ordinated by a small, active committee and a team of drivers who give their free time to provide a patient transport for health related appointments, both locally and in Aberdeen, where alternative transport arrangements are not suitable or available.
The drivers are the key players and without them there would be no patient transfers.
Anyone who has some free time to spare, and would like to be part of the organisation, should get in touch with the secretary, Derek Johnstone, on 07803 047239 for further information.
