A party from Bonty Court sheltered housing in Aboyne enjoyed a special afternoon tea to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee as special guests of Deeside Activity Park.

A fine spread was laid on in the hall, which was decorated with bunting, flags and balloons and included homemade sausage rolls, salmon sandwiches, cream meringues and Victoria sponge.

Traditional singer, Shona Donaldson from Tarland had the guests singing along with Scottish songs and 10-year-old Nicola Howie played two tunes on her fiddle, much to the delight of the audience.

Deeside Activity Park welcomed numerous guests over the Jubilee weekend and even had a caravan rally on site for three nights.
