Aboyne and Deeside Community Theatre is to show a performance of Dead Dad Dog, by John McKay, at 7pm on Saturday (June 25).
Young Eck Dundee has his special day ruined by the appearance of his long-dead father, Wullie. Eck must decide what to do with the ghost, when they discover they physically cannot be further than a few feet apart without painful consequences. What follows is a comic nightmare, as Eck tries to live through the day with his father in tow.
Wullie is played by Chris Begg and Eck by his son, Jamie Begg.
Dead Dad Dog will be performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from August 5 to 13. Also being performed at the theatre at 2pm on Saturday (June 25) is Kreestan Sennakie’s Magical Story Emporium, by Chris Begg, bringing wonderful stories to life with magical storytelling, illusion and audience participation. It will also be performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The performances are being staged by Quids In Theatre Company, an innovative new theatre group from the North-east of Scotland committed to bringing accessible theatre to audiences in the region.
